Star Constellation: mapping support activity

Star Constellation and family mapping Star constellations are collections of stars that are connected to each other. In this activity the stars represent the self at the centre and the people who are connected to you. Who are your collections of stars? OR Family mapping activity: Map out your family using different styles of lines to represent the relationships between you and them.

Art - Ice breakers

Icebreaker activities 1. Collaborative Drawing Materials Needed: Large sheet of paper, markers, or crayons. Activity: Place the large paper in the centre of the group. Each participant adds a doodle, shape, or line to create a collaborative artwork. To encourage non-verbal communication, do not talk during the activity. Purpose: Promotes teamwork and breaks initial hesitations. 2. Blind Contour Portraits Materials Needed: Paper and pencils or markers Activity: Pair up participants. They draw each other's portraits without looking at the paper or lifting the pencil from the page. Purpose: Sparks laughter and relaxes the group while introducing them to observational skills. 3. Art Word Association Materials Needed: None (can use a whiteboard or flipchart for group visualization). Activity: Begin with an art-related word (e.g., "color"). Participants take turns quickly saying the first related word that comes to mind. The group can collectively sketch a scene based...
