Cardboard 
Yarn

Scissors

10.00-10.05: I collected all my materials.
10.05-10.10: I gave directions to my peers of my activity.
10.10-10.50: My peers and I carried out my activity.
10.50-11.00: Clean up my area. 

Room and/or equipment requirements:
Ensure the room is wheelchair accessible. 
Ensure there is enough materials for the activity.
Ensure there is enough open space in the room for this activity. 
Ensure all equipment used is child friendly and non-toxic.
Ensure children are supervised at all times.
General Aim of activity – What will the final outcome be? ie. ‘To make an aeroplane with cardboard’ box.
The aim of my activity is to make creative letters wrapped in yarn. 

Specific Learning outcomes of the activity – What will be learned by doing the activity? Ie. ‘To use fine motor skills using the scissors’ 
The children use fine motor skills to cut out the letters.
The children develop their hand-eye co-ordination from wrapping the yarn around the letters.
The children develop creativity.
The children use their imagination.
The children develop confidence as they complete this activity as they start with plain cardboard and finish with a yarn wrapped letter.
