How would you make the activity more inclusive? Principles of universal design
Simple and intuitive design is easy to understand, regardless of a child’s experience, knowledge, language skills, or concentration level – this idea is simple and easy to understand for the children

How would you adapt the activity to suit outside/inside?  This could be done with leaves from outside and trace them onto a page for autumn or the children’s hands could be traced onto the window for a window display

Simplify this activity: have the hands already cut out and the hearts cut out and let the children decorate them

Variations for the activity: How could you vary the activity? ‘
This can also be used as a mothers’ day card or birthday cards
