Toilet paper roll binoculars

 Materials used:

• 2 Toilet roll

• Tape

• Strips of paper

• Ribbon

• Coloured plastic

Time plan: 

• 5mins cut the strips of paper and tape the two toilet rolls together

• 15-20mins to stick the coloured plastic on the end of each sides of the toilet rolls and stick the strips to cover the toilet roll.

• 2-3mins to cut and stick the ribbon onto the binoculars

Room and/or equipment requirements:

• Tape

• Scissors

• Ribbon

• Table

General Aim of activity – What will the final outcome be? 

• To make binoculars for the children to enjoy

• To make them colourful

Specific Learning outcomes of the activity – What will be learned by doing the activity? 

To use fine motor skills using the scissors and taping the paper and plastic onto the toilet rolls.
