Childcare Peer facilitations - Rainbow fish CDs

Materials used:

Cds, different colour card, colourful diamonds,  

Time plan: 
12:00 Gather all equipment and place on the table 
12:15 Drawing the fins of the fish out and cut them out using a scissors
12:25 Using the glue gun glue the fins on the cd
12:35 Getting different colour diamonds and designing the cd by gluing the diamonds on the cd
12:45 Than glue the eye to the fish 
12:50 Finish and tidy up.

Room and/or equipment requirements:
Art Room. 
Equipment Need: scissors, glue gun. 
General Aim of activity – What will the final outcome be? ie. ‘To make an aeroplane with cardboard’ box.
To able to make a fish using cds.
Specific Learning outcomes of the activity – What will be learned by doing the activity? Ie. ‘To use fine motor skills using the scissors’ 
To be creative by creating the body of the fish using different colour diamonds.
To use fine motor skills using a scissors to cut out the fins of the fish.
Steps for making or doing activity:
Step 1: Cut pieces of different colour paper and stick it to one side of the Cd disc 
Step 2: When the cd is covered with different colour paper, stick an eye and a month on it 

Step 3: Turn the cd over and using the glue gun stick different decoration on it like buttons, glitter and eyes.



   












Step 4: Attach the fins and tails onto the fish. And put a piece of string at the top of the fin. Then the fish is finished.
