Project Approach Introduction
Aim: To introduce the project approach and the assignment
Objectives: To demonstrate the project approach using ideas and the white board.
To form teams within the class
To allow teams to write a team contact based on good outlined principles
Content of team contract:
- Name of team
- Names and contact details of team members
- Leader of team
- Date of agreement
- Aim and objectives of the group - what is it setting out to achieve
- Rules of the groupwork - listening, offering ideas and points of view, how reach a decision, and getting involved wholeheartedly
- Respect
- Attendance
- Responsibilities
- Expectations of group members
- Roles of team members
- Named contribution of group members - abilities/skills/etc
- Limitations of group members - time, money or ability
- Communication - agreed channels - facebook group/dropbox/email etc
- Dealing with conflict - agreed procedures
