Story Stones
Aim:
To personalise and inspire story making and to use stones on which images are adhered
Materials:
Stones, images from magazines/photos and
Liquid Paverpol: This water-based fabric stiffener can be used with most fabrics to render them rigid and waterproof once dried. 1 litre.
Instructions:
Cut out images or use photos from magazines.
Collect stones; round and smooth are best
Glue the image onto the stone.
Using the Paverpol liquid cover the image and the stone.
Leave overnight
The Paverpol liquid drys very hard and is very resistant to knocks.
Use the stones in a variety of ways;
Use themes such as christmas or bringing baby home.
Allow playful interaction by arrangement and supportive dialogue and engagment
Create individual personaised stones with images of the children
