Making a light box

Aim:

To make a DIY light box for use with children

To demonstrate the function of a light box in Early education

To demonstrate the easy construction of a light box

To demonstrate the various methods of using the light box

To introduce the use of colour in early education

Tracing paper or baking paper

Coloured tissue paper

Laminating machine

Plastic shapes or gems


Put the lights in the box

Place the lid on the box or add a tracing sheet just under the lid to defuse the light
