Using visual maps to summarize and critically evaluate research information

This is a 4th  year project in which the student creates a visual map, using the themes below.

  • OR A theme agreed between Tutor and student 

This is a level 8 project that aims to:
  • To present information in a cohesive and visual format
  • To order content so as to identify themes and main points
  • To learn to be critically evaluative in the research of topic areas
  • To be able to research within a topic 'family' - (related but not the same)
  • To be able to select relevant research under the general theme
  • To be able to link themes and the main points across the diagram
