Superhero Cape
Every child loves to be a hero!
Superman, spider man, batman, iron-man super-girl, wonder-woman, and the incredible hulk who all have extraordinary or superhuman powers!
What child would not want to be them?
In this activity we make a cape using thick plastic, hot glue gun and Glitter. The cape can of course be made with other materials, like fabric or felt, but this cape is very durable and waterproof in case the superhero needs to get wet!
Class activity Aim:
- To use new materials, plastic sheet, to make a superhero cape
- To use a glue gun and glitter
- To work together in groups
- To design and make the cape
- To be innovative in the design; to solve design problems - ties, ways for it to be held etc.
